Since 1966, chefs who know the traditions of production have been sizzling them here, because it was in that year that the Soviet government established everyone's favorite famous shashlik restaurant in this place.
Even earlier, after the war, a family of a teacher and a doctor lived here, who took care of the health and education of the local population. Well, at the beginning of the 19th century, this place belonged to a Lithuanian-American who lived here and kept breeding horses.
Even back then, there were restaurants in Smiltyne. The elite of society would come here to have fun - ladies in fancy dresses and white umbrellas, accompanied by gentlemen. They would admire the surroundings and feast. At all times, this shore was an exclusive and luxurious place.
